Cristiano Ronaldo Trolled - Demands to extend his stay at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo a.k.a CR7 had remained as an integral part of Real Madrid since joining them from Manchester United in 2009. His form for Real Madrid has been excellent right from the beginning. The La Liga (Spanish League) trophy had been missing from this club’s trophy cabinet for the past 4 years. But Ronaldo helped win this trophy for RM with his sublime performances.
Of late there has been news proliferating that Ronaldo is unhappy at Madrid. This news turned on the transfer alarms of all the big clubs and Real Madrid will try to keep him at the club by giving into every demands of CR7. Ronaldo places his demands in front of Florentino Perez (club president) as follows :-

1] My first demand is to change the current stadium name from Santiago Bernabeu to Cristano Ronnabeu. In this way I can feel that I am playing in my own homeland. So no more tears.

2] I want a sportscar to play matches. So that I can become the fastest ever footballer. Well I can’t compete with Usain Bolt who might make his debut with Manchester United. Also this will make my only two greatest assets completely secured from any injury. I meant my legs you idiot. Yeah, I know Sergio Busquets will be happy cause there wont be any more diving practice required cause he will be truly injured this time. But who cares??
Heyy, a more faster one
3] I still remember a freakish car accident in Manchester some years ago. It was my poor driving and so instead of complete football practice I want some time to be trained with Schumacher for honing my driving skills.

4] I want my celebration style to be copyrighted. Any player using my style should be sued.
This is my style

5] The team kit with all the white colors spread all over seems to be too masculine. I want some pink shades in our kit and also a flower in my hair. You know what I mean.

Yeah, something like this

6] I am tired of these people pointing out that my lips are weird. I need an immediate surgery.

7] As Rooney had spilled the beans about my addiction of watching in the mirror every time and admire myself, I want mirrors to be placed all around the stadium so that I can look into anytime I want.

8] I have the right to substitute myself in or out of the game anytime I want. You see I am a big mood swinger.

9] My team of vanity will be always present on the bench so that if I hurt my nail while shooting they can take care of immediately. They will also stock tissue papers in case I start crying on the field.

Something like this I want

10] I want DNA testing facility to be included in the stadium’s medical facilities. I require it quite often.
This should be my personal vehicle

11] I have access to the stadium anytime I want with anyone accompanying me, but please make sure that on matchday fans don't complain about sticky seats. You again know what I mean.

12] And lastly I heard that Apple had launched a new phone. I want a complete stock of that and make sure that their next phone unveiling is under my label like iRon.
Yeah, am feeling happy now

This article is just for fun so enjoy it and don’t take any demand seriously.

Why India loves Cricket ?

BCCI Logo
Sportsperson around the world follows a great fan-following. According to their fans they are the ones who live in their heart, whom they want to ape. But come to the place called India and you will understand the true meaning of fan-following.

In India the magic of Cricket is woven all around. Why everyone follow this game like a maniac?

Cricket's debut in India

The British Raj lasted here for more than a century. Of the many fiascoes they brought with them, Cricket must be rated as a big exception. Yes, had Britishers never came to India, Cricket's foundation wouldn't have had laid so early. Englishmen wouldn't have thought that in future Indians would beat them in their own game. Maybe they got a taste of their own medicine in those days itself. (Remember "Lagaan")

India's rise at World Level

Many would be astonished to know that the Britishers established first Cricket club in Kolkata way back in 1872. But India played its first International match in 1932 against our very own masters in those days,  England. The match was played at Lords and in the process India became fifth country to be granted Test playing status. The beginning was really bad. We played hundreds of matches but winning only a handful. But things started to change during the start of 1970's. In this period India produced some stalwarts like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Bishen Singh Bedi, Erapalli Prasanna and many others. Things took a major leap when India won the World Cup in 1983 at Lords beating the mighty Caribbeans. India entered into the tournament as minnows but ended it as champions. Since then, India never looked back and today enjoys a great position in World Cricket with 3 World Cup Titles in all and also a Joint-Champions Trophy Winner to name a few accolades.

Such has been India's success in Cricket that the viewers had always loved watching them play. A game called Hockey (which is now forgotten by most Indians) was the prime focus of most until Cricket overshadowed it. In the forthcoming sections the reasons behind this never ending love are discussed.

Aaila Sachin !

Well, discussions on Cricket can never be completed without this maestro's name. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar entered Indian Cricketing stage in 1989. Playing relentlessly for 23 years (and still counting), he had shown signs of true champion giving his best against each team in the world. He have every major batting record under his name. Every time he's on field a new feather is added to his already much feathered hat. In India, Cricket's a religion and Sachin is its God. You can't define his personality, his gameplay, his batting prowess in one word. He's truly a brand ambassador of this game.

People in India are crazy about Sachin. Days when his game is not up to the mark, India's media acts as if there's a national crisis looming over the country (specially news channel like Aaj Tak). They bring experts from every nook and corner of the world and start tarnishing Sachin's gameplay. Well every Indian in such case is seen providing suggestions to this man who himself is a well-written book of Cricket. But such is his character that he shuts down his each and every critic with his power-packed performance.

Sachin do have powers, as one Australian author (can't recall his name) writes as "He can stop time in India". He shares one incident when he was at Shimla's one of the toy train station. It was time for the train to depart but there were no signs of train moving even an inch. Later he came to know about Sachin playing at 98 in a certain match at that same time and the train's driver vowed to move only after seeing the Little Master score his century. Crazy Sachin Fan !

Political Drama

The governments of India and Pakistan have always been at loggerheads over many issues. This dispute had always eased its passage into the game of Cricket. Indo-Pak matches always deliver high octane performances from both sides. The political tension between these two warring countries led to a ban for several years on the brand called India vs Pakistan. But the most highly-rated match between them was always imminent and the cold war was broken when they met in World Cup 2003 Pool Match. This rivalry was always used by the organizers to cash-on and hence bring more audience whereas at the same time keeping the love for Cricket well ignited.

New Breed and Format

With new format of  T20 enjoying a great success among the spectators this love is going to be forever. Newer breed of cricketers also making their way into limelight is always good to see. Also young players had always taken keen interest in this game. Winning 3 Under-19 World Cup titles in the past decade is something enough said regarding it.

After seeing so many aspects going in the favor of Cricket like success, no wearing-out among viewers, dashing players, veteran players at their best to name a few, it is totally possible for the game to remain in everyone's heart.

This is why I think India loves Cricket...................
